Petnica Archaeological School

The students of the Second Balkan Spring School of Archaeology will have the opportunity to follow five lectures on the subject of the social status in antiquity and the early medieval period. The first lecture dedicated to the importance of the status in the Hellenistic period and the related sites and archaeological material will be delivered by Professor Ljuben Tevdovski. Lectures concerning the Roman and early Medieval period of this session will be delivered by the prominent Macedonian archaeologist Lence Jovanova, Dr. Ivanovic from the Serbian Academy of Arts and Sciences, Dr. Šmalcelj Novaković from the Institute of Archaeology in Zagreb, and Dr. Pavlovic from the Anthropological laboratory of the University of Belgrade.
